Our mind is like thermostat. It will always act the way it is programmed to do. For instance, if the thermostat is set to 25 degrees, and the room temperature is lower, it will allow all heating devices to focus their energy on heating the room. But when the room temperature is 25 degrees, the thermostat will command all heaters to stop heating.
Are you wondering what is the analogy with the mind? Our mind works just like that. Lets take money as an example. If we believe we belong to middle class or that it’s only possible to live out of regular job, our mind will take care for this to be true. The mind is always getting what it believes. So in this case it will take care that we can live normally out of our pay check. But if by any case happens that we get more money from a good business move or in lottery or by inheritance, our mind will give us again what we belive in. We will lose money, spend it, gamble it, share it all the way until we get back to the situation when we life out of the paycheck again. I wonder when the moment we stopped enjoying and started complaining happen. As kids we knew very well what do we want and we always fought to get it. When we were hungry, thirsty, wet, we cried asking the condition to be changed. As bigger, we always neglected if the toy we wanted isn’t bought or if we are not allowed to go where we wanted. We sure knew how to enjoy, to laugh, to be happy for everything that used to amuse us. What has changed? We became grouchy, more and more things bother us, and the worse thing is that we learned to handle it and do nothing to change it.
Lot of us live their lives as victims. It is so much easier that way. Those people sacrifice for their children, for their parents, for friends. They sacrifice on a job they don’t like, suffer from neighbors when conflicted. They always focus on a negative side of reality. Lot of us forgot how to be a money magnet and attract money without stress.
Adults are always annoyed with some irrelevant things. Bad weather, too hot or too cold, never right; constantly some problems at work; never enough money. When we meet with friends it’s like we are competing who is more sick or who has bigger pain or more problems in life. Long ago I decided to stop such negative approach. When I have a conversation with somebody who is set to such negative thinking mode, I simply switch my mind on autopilot and nod significantly and reply: “well, it’s life “.

Practice, practice, practice! All of us watched “The Secret” and I suppose we all thought that everything will change because we learned the secret. Well, it won’t change if we do not know what should we do and how should we act. I read many articles on the law of attraction and its implementation in practice, and on this blog I’m trying to convey my experiences in its application. I want to justify the fact that I am a money magnet. For now, I achieved almost all smaller desires, but those life important are still on hold. Thats probably because I still did not succeedes to develop the two basic things that are necessary to achieve goals. I will write about that today.
The two key factors for achieving results that we want are:
wish
expectation
Most people misapprehended the Law of attraction by thinking that a wish is the only thing they need to achieve goals. But if the desire is not combined with the expectation of receiving what they want, then the frustration and disappointment will be present whenever they begin to work towards the goal of any kind.
A desire without expectation is just a fantasy. It does not produce any results. I noticed that with myself. When I was a teenager, I had very rich imagination. I used to imagine like I am rich, doing what ever I wish, like I can be with every girl I want, like I am not shy and introvert. Couple days ago I wondered why this dream did not come true when I spend so much time fantasizing. Of course, the conclusion is that I never expected any of it to happen. It was very nice fantasizing, but the moment I got back to the reality, I came into completely different world. These years it was very hard for my family and me. I did not expect back then those wonderful things to happen. If I knew then that I need to connect the imagination with expectations in reality, I would probably fulfill all my desires and make my money magnet working by now.

One of the biggest secrets of success is to acknowledge that there is enough of everything we need. If we get rich, nobody has to become poor because of that. We’ll not take anybody’s money. If I succeed in business, my competition will not necessary be ruined. It is not a shame to want success and lot of money. It is bad practice to be frightened of competition and shyly protect what you have while being scared that someone else doesn’t take it away. You’ll not spend all your love if you give it to your partner. When a child is born, you’ll not love less your partner because you have only limited amount of love available. On the contrary, you will easily find additional love that will be devoted to the child. It is the same when another child is born. You will not love the first one less. The secret is in the abundance! There is enough of everything we need! We just need to find it and attract it, like a money magnet.
I used to be afraid of the competition. I mean the competition in every way. When I competed in swimming, I used to think more about how fast my rivals will swim than I thought about my own result. I thought that it is much better just to be faster even if all of us have lousy results. Of course, now I see that everybody should be interested only in our own performance. If we give our best, the results will show up. Maybe we’ll be better than others, maybe we won’t, but the most important thing is that we will be satisfied and proud of ourselves. Only then we’ll not regret if somebody was maybe better. Maybe he was more prepared, maybe he was lucky or maybe he wanted to win more. But we know that there will be more opportunities to be the best and by applying the law of attraction, we’ll get to our goal. read more..
You probably read about my goals, so you know that the most important short-term goal is to attract 5000€. Later you probably read that I still didn’t attract it. Well, that money still isn’t coming, and today I figured out why. My attempts to be a money magnet missed one important thing and now I will share it with you.
I want to tell you that short after my wish was released, I received that money in cash. So, technically my wish came true. Except that money wasn’t for me. It was not my money, I just had to keep it for a while and to transfer it over to a friend. When I think about it now, I got what I asked, just that I asked wrong. My wish should have been rephrased and it should say that I want this money for myself.
After this experience, I remembered number of other peoples’ examples who had wrongly put their wishes. I remember one simple, but good example of a man who waited for a bus. He wanted to use the law of attraction to get to work on time. So he asked for a bus number 47 and repeated: “I want 47, I want 47…” After waited a while he noticed a truck with a large number 47 on it. The law of attraction fulfilled his wish, but the problem was that he asked wrong. We need to be extremely careful while expressing our wishes to avoid focusing our creative energy at wrong things. From this example you can see that we should always want to accomplish our goal (to get to work on time) and not the means for accomplishing it (particular bus). There were so many different ways to get to work on time and he should have not wanted just a stupid bus.
After acknowledging that I got what I expressed as a wish (I mean somebody else’s money), I continued to attract money. A change to get money just for myself was added. But the money isn’t coming and I know the reason now. If I should recommend to somebody money magnet concept in only two words, it would be: think positive. The law of attraction is always present no matter of our thinking patterns. If we think positive, we’ll attract positive things. If we think negative, we’ll attract negative things. Simple as that! I am trying to think of me as a money magnet and the results should appear soon.
Our life is not just a collection of real events, but our perspective of those events. Last weekend I was at a wedding party and I didn’t have nice time. Why? I cannot answer straight. Most of the people were having great time, they danced and singed. And I didn’t like the music, waiters, food, the restaurant… I saw the complete event from negative perspective. I could hardly wait to come home when I realized that it was only my fault that I had such lousy time. Other people listened to the same music, eaten the same food and still they had a wonderful time.
This example made me think about how our perception of events affects what kind of life we’ll have. If I compare a life with this particular wedding party, it would be very bad for me because I looked at things negatively. Isn’t better to look at things positively and don’t allow small insignificant things to ruin everything?
I used to think that it is better to be a pessimist rather than an optimist. I thought that when you are a pessimist and expect something bad to happen and when this really happens, then you will not be disappointed. And if something nice happens, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Optimists expect nice things and when those things really happen they are not so happy because they already expected them. And if something bad happen, they can be quite disappointed. But since I know about the law of attraction my opinion has changed. I know now that when you are an optimist there are lot greater chances that good things you expect will happen. Bad things will happen to pessimists because they are expecting them already. If you read previous articles, then you know that my short term goal is to attract 5000€. I want this money and I need it. I expect it every day and I am sure that it will come. But it still isn’t coming, so I wanted to ask myself in this article if I’m doing something wrong. Am I a money magnet yet or not?
I am aware of the law of attraction for more than a year now, but it was more theoretically and the practice was bad. Now I have decided to start to practice it properly and the first step is to attract 5000€. I am imagining that I already received it, that I am happy and satisfied, and how absolutely delighted I am writing an article on this “money magnet” blog. I am very happy while imagining those things, it feels very nice. Afterwards I have a nice feeling of expectation, like my money will fall down from the sky.
Now I feel like I succeeded in changing my attitude about spending money. I used to feel very uncomfortable when I was about to buy something more expensive. I became really cheap and thought only about saving every cent. For everything that had to be bought I used to say that it was unnecessary. But I have changed. The feeling is different. I already wrote that Paul McKenna’s audio programs were my initial resource on the law of attraction and money magnet idea. I felt that I need to change something in my life and luckily ran to his “Positivity” program. I found out that most money problems I had were because of my bad attitude toward money. So I am now changing that attitude and always reminding myself that I am a money magnet.
Here are Paul McKenna’s 20 best ideas how we can attract money to our life. This is not only about the law of attraction or changing attitude about money. There are also some reasonable, real life advices that everyone should use.
Save first, and then spend what you can truly afford – poor people do the opposite. Make a plan (monthly budget) and stick to it. You may write down everything you spend to make it clear.
Study wealthy people. Understand how they think and behave towards money and wealth.
Ask for help. If you are respectful and polite, most people are willing to help. If you want to learn about money, learn from someone who has lot of it.

Soon after I heard about the law of attraction for the first time, I found out that the most referent source of it are Abraham Teachings. I noticed there Jerry and Esther Hicks as lecturers and teachers, and they were always mentioning Abraham as a “founder” and mentor whose teachings they convey. Also, in the famous movie The Secret, Esther Hicks appears signed as a representative of Abraham Teachings.

I was keeping this interesting story specially for April 1st. I was wondering if some people are money magnets by chance and fortune or there is something else. Is somebody attracting money by coincidence, or by luck, or there is some force that creates human money magnets? The story I am about to tell you reinforced my belief in the law of attraction and the power of Universe.
The story is about Steven Bradbury, Australian speed skater who caused lot of attention and became the hero at Sault Lake City Winter Olympics 2002. He was aware that he cannot perform like top competitors, so he skated at the tail waiting for his chance. And he succeeded, you will see how. Some would call it coincidence, some would call it luck, but I think that his secret is in the law of attraction, in ability to create reality by his strong desire. His wish came true in a very interesting way.
This was his fourth Olympic Games. By that time he had noticeable results only in relay races. He came to Olympic Games after some serious injuries, but he also managed to train a lot for the competition.
I just want to shortly explain the rules of the competition. Usually there are five skaters in a race. Two best skaters are going to the next round. And now look at the scenario that Steven attracted like a magnet:
Steven won in his preliminary race and went to quarterfinals.
In quarterfinal he skated at the tail. In the last lap one of the skaters in front of him fell, so Steven came third. But one skater was disqualified later, so Steven advanced to semifinals.
In semifinal, he already knew that he cannot compete equally with other skaters, so he decided to skate at the tail of the group again. In the last lap, three skaters in front of him fell, so Steven was second at the finish line and advanced to finals.
And in final race he also skated at the back and… look by yourself what happened.
What can you say after such story except that everything is possible! We should never give up or be despaired. We should always think positive and have strong desires, and then it is possible that the Universe will fulfill our wish in a strangest way.
This story has one more message that Steven Bradbury himself emphasizes in his motivational courses. It is important that we get into the situation when the Universe can help us. Steven did not come to the Olympics straight from his bed. It took him years and years of practice. But once he brought himself in such environment where everything is possible, the law of attraction did the rest. Although we know the secret about the law of attraction, we should take action! We will accomplish nothing by sitting in the room and just thinking positively.
With this victory, Steven Bradbury became the first man from the south hemisphere that won a winter Olympic gold medal. And after watching this story for the first time, I got my roll-model whose example will help me in many life battles to come.
